The Taipa Sailing Club clubhouse is located at the end of Taipa Point Road, Taipa, in the beautiful Far North of New Zealand.

The clubhouse is at the end of the Point with the tidal river on one side and the waters of Doubtless Bay on the other. This gives all levels of ability the opportunity to sail in conditions most likely to help build confidence; then to challenge individual sailors to extend their skills as needed.

Splash and Optimist

We are a family-based club. Everyone is encouraged to participate - even those too young or not yet keen on sailing are encouraged to join in at the club. The clubhouse has kitchen facilities and showers and toilets. For club members, boat storage is available.

The club hosted the NZ Splash National Championship 2006 and the Northland Optimist Championship 2006; held over the weekend - 4th and 5th March 2006. The club also hosted the Toyota NZIODA Optimist Open Regatta 2005.
